The Gingerbread Man is a fairy tale about a biscuit (a man) who escapes, leaping from the oven and running away from an old woman and her husband.
They want to chase him but he outruns several farm workers and farm animals while taunting them with the phrase:
"I've run away from a little old woman, a little old man, and I can run away from you, I can!".

The tale ends with a fox catching and eating the gingerbread man.

There are lots of variants and adaptations, but you can say this is the most famous biscuit around the world.

This is one of them.

And if you want to make one, try it with this recipe.

The Nobel Prizes are awards that are given each year for special things that people or groups of people have achieved. There are six areas: Physics, Chemistry, Medicine, Literature, Economics and Peace.

They were created by the Swedish inventor Alfred Nobel, who wanted to use some of his money to help make the world a better place to live.

He was a chemist, engineer and inventor whose most famous invention, dynamite, made him a rich man.

Prizes can only be given to individuals of all races, countries and religions. Only the Peace Prize can also be given to a group.

Each award consists of a gold medal, a diploma and a lot of money.

All prizes are presented in Stockholm (Sweden), except the Peace Prize that is awarded in Oslo (Norway).
