Next Thursday 23rd June people of England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland will vote; they need to make a choice: be in the EU (European Union) or leave it.
Some British people don’t want to be in the EU now, the name for this is Brexit: Britain + Exit = Brexit.
Other people think the EU (twenty-eight countries from Europe, who work together) is good and they don’t want to change it because this could bring big economic problems in the future.
It’s a difficult question and lots of people don’t know what to do but... it’s time to decide!.

Thousands of people in London were around Buckingham Palace last weekend (second of June) wishing Her Majesty a "Happy Birthday", her 90th birthday!!.

Queen Elizabeth II has got two birthdays: one is on 21st of April (her personal birthday) and the other (the official) is on 11th of June because the weather is better at that moment.
Last 11th (and every year in June) there was a birthday parade called The Trooping of the Colour at Buckingham Palace.

This year the following day, the Queen organised a street party outside the palace for 10,000 people.
Towns and villages celebrated street parties all over the UK.
It was a moment for history!!
